Job Description
Environmental Engineer

Our client is looking for an environmental engineer to join their growing highways team. The company reflects the Highways Agency's vision of future network operation and maintenance by offering best practice in all aspects of design, supervision and technical practice. To manage the construction phase of all environmental schemes and to assist other Scheme Engineers in the correct completion of the environmental element of their schemes. To manage the on site removal of trees or parts of trees that have been identified by the Environmental Team as a Category 2 danger.

Responsibilities

* Job Report to Schemes Construction Manager or Environmental Design Team any issues that need their input or any necessary reports.
* Manage the works in a safe manner and deliver them to time, quality and budget.
* Provide support and assistance in developing schemes from concept stage through to final close out.
* Liaise with all necessary departments for the delivery of individual works.

Degree or HND or similar in civil engineering
Suitable & relevant site experience
Knowledge and experience of landscape planting and tree felling work would be an advantage.
