My client is a proactive, fast moving organisation at the centre of the oilseed industry. My client plays a key role in encouraging best practice in production and marketing techniques.

My client requires a focused graduate to join its crop marketing department as an analyst. You will be part of a team that is responsible for providing a reliable market intelligence service to the UK cereals and oil seeds industry.

This company is looking for someone to provide the economic expertise when providing advice and analysis in a way which is easily understood across the board.
This role will involve various different responsibilities. You will be responsible for routine data collection and analysing of the results. Your results will be written up in a reader friendly format which is suitable for publications. You will require a flair for analysis and the ability to communicate well both written and verbally. You will be expected to liaise with people of all different positions.

Your key tasks will be:

- Analysis and reports
- Monitoring markets
- Answering enquiries in specialist areas on market and policy developments
- Presentations to industry
- Develop industry contacts
- Advise, maintain and build relationships with key industry players

The essential skills and requirements for this role are as follows:

- 2.1 or above in Economics, Agriculture or strongly related degree
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- You will be a team player with an excellent working attitude
- You will be able to prioritise your work load
- Highly analytical
- Numerate
- Focused

Knowledge of agriculture, arable cropping or bio fuels would be highly desirable but not essential.
