Our client is a successful M & E consultancy practice comprising 50 people. They are looking for an environmental/energy engineer with good rounded sustainability knowledge and experience to head up their Renewable Environmental Services company.

Current projects include a wide range of commercial office, retail and residential scheme s ongoing in design using the following technologies:-

Boreholes
CHP
Trigeneration
Fuel cells
Solar thermal
Passive systems

You would manage 3 engineers in the team on a day to day basis. They are looking to grow the business over the next year with the candidate heading up this expansion plan.

Ideally you would be Associate status or Senior Engineer depending on experience, aiming to reach Associate status within a short period.

You need to be self motivated, driven and and have good communication skills.

You need to have a comprehensive understanding of Planning Energy strategies, Part L legislation, renewable energy technologies and supporting calculation methods and an understanding of thermal modeling(ies preferred)along with breeam and code for sustainable homes.
