The Division Manager works in operational capacity directly with all production projects of the company to maintain business, institutional and production systems to ensure that programs are implemented according to MLT Agronomy Strategic Plan, targets and in compliance to manufacturer's requirements and specifications.
The Division Manager is responsible for all aspects of the operations of the production & purchasing of green leaf tobacco within the district or village allocated.
Responsibilities include employment of personnel, financial controls of operational Budgets, insuring the timelines of ordering & procurements as required within his divisions, management of SRP, GAP & forestry programs as implemented according to the plan, with compliance to manufacturers requirements and specifications.
Main responsibilities are to ensure agronomy production targets regarding volume, quality, credit recovery and, by applying best management practices, are to meet objectives and strategies according to agreed Strategic Plan.
Division Managers are expected to liaise closely with local Government officials & community leaders within his province.
Monthly reports should be delivered to Provincial Manager addressing status of districts or village activities.
