We are looking for a Biomass Consultant to expand our Renewable Energy expertise, enhancing the quality of our delivery for clients in both the public and private sector, in the UK and across the World. You will sit within a core team of experts in the biomass field and work alongside a larger team of consultants and knowledge leaders in the area of renewables.

The ideal candidate will have:

    * Knowledge of biomass supply and related issues, including crops and yields, modelling, legislation, and biofuels
    * Knowledge of agriculture or forestry, with an interest in the environmental impacts of these sectors
    * A keen interest in working with clients who are working to deliver and manage biomass energy both in the public and private sectors
    * Experience of international developments in agriculture or forestry relevant to bioenergy would be useful.
    * Degree in environmental, scientific or engineering disciplines with some experience of working in industry
    * The ability to respond positively to change and drive change within an organisation

You will be key to defining and delivering on biomass projects and ensuring AEA meets the customer's objectives. You will also have the opportunity to work in other fields and develop your consulting skills whilst broadening your technical knowledge.
