We look for:

Experienced Plantation Manager

head of the agronomic department of a group plantation company



Description:

- Management of oil palm and/or rubber plantations: 5000 to 10000 ha

- Organization and follow-up of plantation maintenance

- Harvesting and organization of the transport to the factory

- Organizing road construction

- Planning and organizing plantation development: extensions or replantations

- Budgeting and budgetary control administration

- Maintain good relations with the industrial and finance departments
and negotiate with the unions

- Management of the agronomic department staff: executives (5 to 10)
and workers (2 to 4000) and organizing training for executives



Profile:

- Sex: M/F

- Degree in Agronomy

- Relevant professional experience > 5 years, preferably in similar conditions

- Bilingual French/English (oral & written)

- PC literate



Skills:

- Organised, analytical-minded, result-oriented, pro-active and accurate

- Autonomous

- Strong communication skills and social attitude, team player

- Capabilities to become a sound manager and leader

- Able to adapt to the living conditions on an isolated plantation
