Job Description

MISSION:

Work in a leading Agro-Industrial company in Portugal, with an
integrated production chain in the areas of Pig Production, Feeding,
Slaughtering and Transformation.

In an assignement of 12 to 18 months dedicated to this Project (living
in Portugal during that period of time), to ensure Operational and
Economic success for our pig production operation, by the optimization
and improvement of our animal production, providing top expertise in
this field.

TASKS:

Problem Auditing: Scrutinize and identify failures and/or weaknesses
within the production process (economical, nutritional, sanitary,
infrastructure and operational);
Analyze and diagnose the operation and performance indexes of existing units.
Design and Implementation of improvement programs applying
international best practices;
Ensure animal health:complying with EU regulations;
Contribute significantly to the end-product quality and economic feasibility;
Provide instruction and on the job training: Preparing presentations
and lectures with practical examples for all participants of the
production chain;

REQUIREMENTS:

Senior Manager in Pig Production with Operational and International experience;
Minimum 10 years of experience in pig production management in top
performance company;
Excellent organizational/ technical skills;
Effective oral and written communication in English and/or Spanish
Strong financial management & analytical skills will be appreciated;
High proficiency in MS Office applications (advanced Excel)
Results oriented and team player;
Open Mind, Strong interpersonal & communication skills
Available to live in Portugal during the improvement program;

REMUNERATION & BENEFITS:

• Salary (dependant on experience) + Project reward bonus
• Car allowance, laptop, cell phone, & ocasional travels to the native country
